Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine call Authority and Society to the Dialogue for the Provision of the Nation Unity and New Breakthrough in the Social Life
V. Lytvyn expressed his points of view in the article "Life after the Elections" in "Holos Ukrainy" newspaper.
Elections, the Head of the Parliament states, "are always anticipation of positive changes when people, society and the state enter new perspective and creative development, approaching the future."
Though, V. Lytvyn suggests solving of the problems that appeared as ignoring never leads to positive results.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada criticized "flexible morality, actually the lack of morality in the souls of certain representative of Ukrainian political elite, declaring that this factor, together with the politicization of all spheres of the state activity worsen the implementation of the principal task - harmony and inner peace in the state through "overcoming of our disappointments."
V. Lytvyn called to the political stability that according to his words is not supposed to contradict the basic principles of the democracy and be achieved at the cost of restriction of liberties and rights. He emphasised that without the political stability "there will be no strengthening of the normal everyday life, ruined by the irresponsible actions of the authorities."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called everyone who "wants to be a national leader and parliament to the constructive dialogue" that, according to his words "is to be held on both levels political and social." Conduction of such political dialogue in the current year, according to V. Lytvyn "is supposed to become aware of those historical lessons we faced during first two decades of independence."
Among preliminary tasks that the country is going to face, V. Lytvyn named the problem of the Constitution obedience and issue on the introduction of the amendments to it; elaboration of the constructive elections system; evasion of conflicts connected with special historic and social issues; defining of the foreign political priorities of Ukraine.
The principal tasks in the cultural sphere, V. Lytvyn deems "preserving the ability to understand the soul of the nation and conduction of the dialogue with it. One should always remember: nation without memory are destined to nothingness."
Speaking on the reforms in different spheres of modern life, Volodymyr Lytvyn declared that he is against "popular practice of rapid changes" and emphasised the importance of "rejection the traditional principle to announce crucial changes when the new power comes." Reformation need thorough preparation and they should be suitable
"Ukraine needs effective authority but not a babysitter", the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament concluded. He emphasised that "the prior task for Ukraine is overcoming of the ambiguities between the life demands, state aims and national politicians and state power representatives", - he briefed.
